Commerce Signals and TransUnion invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening featuring Legendary Pulitzer Prize-Winning Investigative Journalists,

Beginning with their first shared Watergate byline in June 1972 followed by their co-authored book, All the President’s Men (1974), Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein set a new standard for Washington journalism and in-depth, behind-the-scenes reporting on the American presidency. Together, Woodward and Bernstein will share their unique, riveting, and personal perspectives of Election 2024 from their insight of having uncovered more hidden stories from the secret world of U.S. presidents, the CIA, the Pentagon, and the Supreme Court. We will also be treated to the exquisite cuisine of Executive Chef and Owner Joe Viggorito at his West Village neighborhood jewel, L’Artusi Supper Club. Legendary Pulitzer Prize-Winning Investigative Journalist and Author
Few journalists in America’s history have had the impact on history and their craft as Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Carl Bernstein. From uncovering the Watergate scandal to writing about national and international affairs for more than 40 years, Bernstein’s books, reporting and commentary have revealed the inner workings of government and politics, and told the hidden stories of Washington and its leaders. Carl Bernstein, born and raised in Washington, D.C., began working at age 16 for the town’s pre-eminent newspaper of the day — The Washington Star: he has since spent half a century as a journalist unraveling the mysteries of his native city. His latest work — including a documentary film he is making about Congress — examines a Washington condition that is strangling the country’s historic political and social progress.

Joe enrolled at The French Culinary Institute and formally began his culinary career in New York City. Since then, Joe’s held roles in several of New York City’s most cherished restaurants including Morandi, Lupa, the well-loved but short-lived Carmine Club Café, and The Eddy in the East Village. He’s also spent time in several of the Epicurean Group’s kitchens, first as the sous chef of dell’anima, and later as the executive sous chef of L’Artusi under his friend and mentor Gabe Thompson. In September 2016, when he left his role at Via Carota to become the Executive Chef of L’Artusi, it was a happy homecoming. Read more about Joe here.
